In the ancient Scottish Highlands, Princess Merida, a skilled archer and the daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, struggles with the expectations placed upon her as a royal. When she defies tradition by refusing to marry a suitor chosen for her, she seeks out a mysterious witch in hopes of changing her fate. However, her wish goes horribly wrong, transforming her mother into a bear. With time running out and dark forces at play, Merida must summon all her courage to undo the spell and mend the bond between herself and her mother before it’s too late.
