Synopsis
After Simba becomes the king of the Pride Lands, he and Nala have a daughter, Kiara, and are expecting another cub. While staying at an oasis for Nala’s delivery, they leave Kiara under the care of Timon and Pumbaa. Rafiki arrives and decides to tell Kiara the story of her grandfather, Mufasa, and his brother, Scar.
Mufasa, along with his parents, Masego and Afia, searches for a legendary land called Milele. A great flood separates Mufasa, leading him to a swamp where he meets a young lion named Taka. They are attacked by young crocodiles but are saved by Taka’s mother, Queen Eshe. Although King Obasi disapproves, Eshe takes Mufasa in. Over time, Mufasa and Taka become close friends. However, tragedy strikes when a group of Outsiders—white lions led by Kiros—invades their pride, leading to the deaths of Obasi and Eshe. Mufasa and Taka escape, later meeting allies like Sarabi, Zazu, and Rafiki.
Their journey leads them to Milele, but the Outsiders follow them. A battle ensues, where Mufasa defends their new home. Taka, consumed by jealousy and betrayal, is wounded and renames himself "Scar." In the end, Mufasa rises as the rightful leader of Milele, marking the beginning of a new era.
