The Wild Robot

    When a shipwreck leaves a cargo of robotic crates scattered across a remote island, only one robot, ROZZUM Unit 7134—or Roz—activates. Designed for a world she does not understand, Roz must learn to survive in the wild, adapting to the island’s harsh environment and earning the trust of the wary animals. As she gradually becomes part of the natural world, she discovers an orphaned gosling, Brightbill, whom she raises as her own. But when Roz’s past comes back to haunt her, bringing dangers that threaten her new home, she must choose between protecting her newfound family or facing those who seek to take her away.
